Even when in a green taxi, the drivers race. In Shanghai, green or yellow taxis have the best drivers; avoid red.  On the side of the  train and bus station is International Glass City.  I navigated through the station and found a  single elevator to the 2nd floor not realizing there is a huge entrance on the other side.  There are 3 floors of stall, after stall.  Each owner will direct you to copies but dig deep; there are real brand names.  Chanel?  LaFont?  Ferragamo?  Gucci?   If you don’t have your prescription on hand…no issue.  They  can copy it from your glasses or refract.  I gave He Quin Hui  from  Dangdai Glasses my pair and she came back asking me if I knew I  had a stigmatism.  You can purchase a wardrobe of glasses for the  price of one pair at home but wear your bargaining skills, you will  need them!  And if it is winter, wear a coat because the owner of each stall will offer you lots of tea to keep you warm. Of course note the toilet paper on the counter in the picture.  In case you warm yourself up drinking tea you are  going to  need some. IMG_2409
